About the Artist

Taffy McGann has been creating original designs in fabrics, ceramics and basket materials for the past 35 years. A professional manufacturer's representative in the arts and crafts industry, she was a founding member of two craft cooperatives in her home state of Rhode Island.

Since moving to Cape Cod, she has become a juried member and participates in the annual shows of the prestigious Cape Cod Craftsmen in Brewster, MA, and the Artisans Guild of Cape Cod in Orleans, MA. She is also a juried and working member of The Whalers Wharf Crafts Cooperative on Commercial Street in Provincetown, MA. She has demonstrated her craft at various other New England shows, including the Hyannis Maritime Museum Show and the Cape Cod Craftsmens 50th anniversary show.

Taffy is also a member of the Northeast Basketmakers Guild and the Hobby Industry of America.
